<image:title>About Bored? - It all begins with an idea.</image:title>
<image:caption>“Bored?” is an app concept imagined by an aspiring traveler. Travelling has become more and more popular over the past 70 years. In 1950, there were 25 million international tourist arrivals, and in 2018, the number has increased to a staggering 1.4 billion international tourist arrivals. From travel agents to travel blogs and websites, there are millions of recommendations for every destination around the world. However, with so many recommendations, it is not a one-size-fits-all. Every traveler has their own preferences of what they want to do and how much they want to spend. With so many recommendations, planning out a trip can be stressful. The “Bored?” app concept is built on two goals: provide instant recommendations for the people who want to do something spontaneous in their own city and encourage people to travel locally and globally. The “Bored?” app most importantly uses 3 core questions to learn more about what the user wants to do: “Where are you?”, “What do you want to do?”, and “How much money do you want to spend?”.</image:caption>
